Behind the Scenes: India/Pakistan

When it's too crowded to set up shop, you improvise.

Smiling for my camera.

My extended family.

More than one ass here.

He who wears a hat like Ed is askin' for trouble.

Call them if you have problems.

I love the photo of the extended family! But, as an aside, there weren't many smiles on those little faces, but a lot of sadness in their eyes? Or maybe their just not used to getting their photos taken? Also liked the ones of you that show that you do have a few minutes of levity on your journeys!

Thanks, Wander.
Those kids were amazing! They don't usually get their picture taken, so it was a bit strange for them. I taught them how to say Cheese, but whenever they'd say it, the crowd would all get up, start jumping and you wouldn't be able to see their faces. Maybe cheese means something else in Punjabi? I never thought to ask....

And yes, as serious as my assignments may be sometimes, I always do try to find some humor in my travels--it keeps me sane :p

Hey bro, was the sex ad in India or Pakistan? Looks like it's India, from the characters on it that looks like Tamil words.

Strange, that such ads exists in a place like India... no puns intended.

Lovely range of photos, Ron, which give flavour to who you are.
