Foam Sword Fights

Photo: Yes, that there is me going for the kill as I fight my way through Camp Rondo with producer extraordinaire and college roommate Steven Bray.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I've been enjoying my time with family and friends--and as I'm going through all the photo's from my personal point and shoot camera, this one stood out most.

You see, Steve and I were college roommates--so when we get together during our annual camping trips, we go all out! And yes, that means having foam sword fights like three year olds. It's a good way to attract the "ladies." Gotta love foam.

To see more of my behind the scenes photo's and candid snapshots, feel free to add me to your facebook.

Hope all is well. I just wanted to put up a brief post to see how everyone is doing. Cheers to you and your family.
Love,
Ron

Nine days to next departure.

Hehehe..is that really you?!
All geared up, aren't we?

It's great to be with friends, isn't it? Nothing can parallel the amount of fun we have with them!

I'm glad you're having a good time and SOME time to rest!

So 9 days and Ron is off again!
Enjoy your time with your family and friends, my dear. I'll wish you a happy journey when the time comes.

Lots of love and best wishes

You can grow a boy TO manhood, but you can never take the boy OUT OF the man. (Ok, so I made that up, and it's pretty bad!) Glad you're enjoying your time home, and I know they're all glad to see you!

So, nine days to go! Well, I have a few more days to go before my next venture overseas and I don't know about you but I am sort of dreading the Hassels (capital 'H') associated with the new security rules now being imposed. Years ago a friend once joked right after the shoe-bomber incident: "What's next, exploding underware?" .... well, now look what happened aboard that flight to Detroit!!

Anyhoo, enjoy the trip. As for my recent posting about not being able to sleep while in flight, it really isn't related to any particular 'fear', just too much on my mind and not being able to mentally relax. I'm too 'high strung' I suppose. Oh well, the joys of international travel.

Your foam sword wouldn't stand a chance against my nerf crossbow. :-)
